We have been destroying the forests for whatever reasons for many years. Forests that work much like our lungs and with the reduction of our forest we have notice and increased in temperatures and abnormalities in the arctic due to the decreased exchange of Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide which is being released into our atmosphere in greater amounts every year. Trees absorb and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while at the same time producing oxygen and releasing water vapor into the atmosphere. As of today  we have destroyed only half of our forests and we’re already feeling the effects of global warming and that is why solar energy is so important. Solar is not only good for the environment it is good for you pocket.
